Here’s a mistake I CONSTANTLY see being made online:
Wanting to make money *simply* by creating and pushing content.
Now, before you get your undies bunched up, let me do some explaining…
First, I fell into this same trap.
I saw people like Gary V. and [insert online marketer here] and thought I could do the same:
Produce some videos. Write some blog posts. Podcast a little…
… and then my bank account would blow up.
(or sponsors would come beating down my door)
Second, who doesn’t want to make money online?
I mean, let’s be honest, if you’re reading this post, you’re focused on creating a platform for your podcast, book, or blog.
Now, the truth is this:
Most podcasters, authors, and bloggers do the same thing…
They think content is the “end all be all.”
They start creating their podcast or writing blog posts, instead of thinking things through.
And that, my friends, is what I would call “putting the cart in front of the horse.”
Well, in this week’s case-study, I’ll be sharing some of things that have worked for earning revenue in my business…
… without content being necessary.
(as well as how I’ve epicly failed in the process)
P.S. – If you’re looking forward to learning about how I’ve generated income online, hit respond and send over any questions or experiences you’ve had making money online. (or not)
I may address it specifically in the case-study or an upcoming email.
