It’s no secret that I greatly dislike the pretty little email templates that add butterflies, glitter, and rainbows to your email.
And there are MANY reasons why you shouldn’t use them, too.
For one, it takes away from your content with tons of unneeded do-dads.
Two, it sets off “the guard” in your readers minds (because those templates stink of self-centered spam).
And three, the only reason you started using them is because everyone else is (or it’s the only option your email service has).
Think about it….
You’ve spent all of this time building your email list, so the LAST thing you want to do is go into the junk folder by sending cartoony-looking email.
To combat this, here’s what you need to do:
For starters, you have to focus on your emails getting consumed.
There’s a lot of trickery being taught online these days about how to sell with email.
But if you’re like me (and want to focus on the critical few things that move the needle in your business) then consumption is the name of the game.
One of the best ways you can guarantee your emails get opened and read is to use an email service that takes delivery seriously.
(and when you start with “free” email services you get charged up the wazzu for basic stuff needed to mail your list)
When my private clients and students ask me where to start, I send them to the provider I currently use – Aweber.
In fact, I’m doing something special for anyone who Aweber a spin before this Friday, December 11th at Midnight PST.
Just sign up for their free trial and forward your receipt my way.
I’ll send you over a nifty piece of code to copy and paste in your emails so they’re readable across computers, smartphones, and tablets.
Remember – consumption is the name of the game in email.
So you HAVE to make your email readable.
No one reads?
No one knows.
No one buys.
Sign up now before the deadline using my affiliate link below and you have my email “Secret Sauce” in your inbox right after.

PS – I’ll be including my secret sauce as a part of an upcoming project and won’t be offering it for free anymore.
So sign up while it’s still available and stop monkeying around with your email list.
