This email is coming to you from the AZ/NM border.
At the moment, my sister, Elvis, and I are headed back home after losing our Aunt.
Late last night she peacefully went onto the next.
This email isn’t some sob story, nor am I looking for condolences…
However, it’s served as a reminder that life is short — and regardless of age, we’re all moving towards the same destination.
When we got the news things weren’t looking good for my Aunt we quickly made the decision to be with family in Las Cruces.
We’ll be back for services in a few days, which sparked a convo between my sister and I…
You see, my business allows for me to work from wherever/whenever.
So on the way over I wrote some emails for one my clients JV launches… An email of my own… And did some other work.
I am truly blessed.
Right now it’s a little different for my sister, who’s working on the beginning parts of her business.
She see’s now how I’m able to be wherever wifi is without having to worry about the responsibilities that come with a standard job.
Yes, it requires a ton of hard work upfront to make it happen… And you must be more disciplined than even the strictest job you’ve ever had…
But it allows for you to be there when people need you most.
What’s the list-building or sales lesson in all of this?
But, at the end of the day, life is short and there’s only one thing guaranteed.
Be with those that matter most to you and do more of things you love — now.
Or at least start working towards the ability to do that as much as possible.
Back to our regularly scheduled emails tomorrow.
