Today’s question comes from Andrès Bertetich. His question is:
“I wanted to ask you if you had any experience you can share about building rapport with your clients, which are superstar entrepreneurs. Just wanted to hear from you if you had a specific anecdote, tactic, or experience to share.”
If you didn’t know, just over 3 years ago I was working tirelessly at a 9-5 and struggling with life because I wasn’t happy.
Fast forward to today and I’ve worked with some of the most known entrepreneurs online, built a podcast marketing agency, and get to live life on my own terms.
So a lot of people see me on social media or working while I travel and wonder how I did it. And at least 2-3 times a week I get asked “how do I get clients?“.
While there are many ways to get clients, I always prefer the route with the most leverage, which means starting by landing “big fish” clients.
Unfortunately, a lot of the common client-landing tactics people implement don’t work for these high-profile entrepreneurs.
(Unless you want to land clients who pay you a minimum monthly amount and want the world in return. That’s no way to build a business)
