Before I started writing this email, I went through my email folder and started cleaning things out…
I tossed untitled emails, emails from past projects, brain farts that didn’t stand a chance, and some client work that never saw the light of day.
As I sorted through the rubble, I stopped to read a few of the old pieces.
One of them brought a smile to my face, but almost all of the others were extremely embarrassing.
But that’s what you get when you start writing daily. You see your progress and are abel to look back to where you were.
It isn’t just about writing daily – if you want to grow your business it has to solve and problem and you have to do something with it.
Send it to your email list.
(a close second would be publishing it on places like Medium, LinkedIn, or Facebook)
As you start building your list, you’ll notice that not everyone reads your emails and some never open a single broadcast you send out.
Don’t let it get to you – just do what I did as I went through the old email files I had saved: trash’em.
Dead leads are a problem when you’re growing an email list…
But what if you don’t have a list yet?
The name of the game is getting your first 100 subscribers.
