Get your email subscriber’s tails wagging

I’ve noticed something funny when I’ve been playing with Elvis lately.

Like any dog he enjoys his toys.

But…

Unlike the dogs that come to mind – my Yorkshire Terrorist has a bit of an attitude problem.

If I throw the toy to a part of the yard he doesn’t like he just looks at me like “you get it”.

Attitude problems.

Any who,

I’ve found a quick way to avoid this little attitude problem that translates directly into landing quality email subscribers:

Instead of just throwing the toy for him to “fetch”

I get him wild up by waving the toy around

getting him to bite at it while pulling it away

and play with his patience.

Then I throw.

The result:

He runs at it like a gazelle hunting zebra in the wild.

Should you “toy” with potential subscribers and customers?

Not necessarily.

But

If you care deeply about your market’s issues and they are hesitant to take action

then consider what you can do to make sure they’re excited about your emails and offers by creating scarcity, urgency, and limited offerings.

It’s how you use it (your email list)

Every morning I wake up to a routine of sorts…

After I freshen up and grab a protein bar I head to the coffee shop

I order my coffee

sit down

start writing in my journal

and then I enjoy the first sip.

It’s what I look forward to everyday I wake up.

It always starts me off in the right direction.

And it’s single-handedly the reason why I have a morning routine that sticks.

The equation is trigger + reward = habit formed.

When you look at your email list the question then becomes:

“What habit do I want my list to form?”

Is it links clicked?

Opens?

Replies?

Sales?

Whatever the case..

There’s a simple method you can implement when someone subscribes to your email list that causes them to not only look forward to your emails,

but to actually consume your free eBooks and buy your products.

… and it’s the type of thing that real marketers do when they care about their audience problem…

And it’s inside the next Email Elite Exclusive Training.

Take your first sip here.

Valuable email list-building advice from a high school dropout

One of my idols from a young age was Rob Dyrdek.

If you aren’t familiar:

he’s a skateboarder who turned pro at 16,

dropped out of high school,

and went on to help create some of the biggest brands in skateboarding and produce some of the biggest TV shows of the last 10 years.

During an interview I was watching yesterday he revealed what he does to remain successful.

The key(s):

Systems & habits.

^^I pound this stuff in my own life and with my students and clients ad nauseum.

In fact…

If you’re following anyone

(or god forbid paying them)

and they aren’t teaching you long-term methods

(see: systems and methods)

for getting long-lasting results,

THEN SKATE THE OTHER WAY.

FAST.

This also applies directly to creating quality email list subscribers.

In fact,

I’m sharing something that I do EVERYDAY that transitions directly into creating long-term email list subscribers

(the kind that look forward to your emails and buy your offers)

in the September Email Elite Exclusive Training.

And,

it’s so simple that you’ll be able to implement in one weekend but feel the rewards for a lifetime to come.

It’s Google’s ball. They’ll do what they want.

I recently heard that Google’s tweaking YouTube and making MAJOR changes to it’s business model

and that this change will impact the way some of the most popular YouTubers will make money.

From the looks of it many will be SOL.

(that’s IF they’re talking about anything political, controversial, or that Google and it’s partners simply doesn’t want to fund)

But that’s Google’s right.

It’s their ball.

They can take it go home with it.

Well

if you don’t have control over your main source of income

then you just aren’t in control.

^^that’s a scary place to be.

Moving on…

If you’ve been building an email list for any length of time

then you know it’s not the size that matters

but how responsive your email subscribers are.

One of the surest ways to a responsive email list is simply doing everything in your power to make sure your email makes it to the inbox.

Because if your email subscribers can’t see it or read it – do you (and your content, offers, and ideas) exist?

And –

with google’s own filters acting like a constant moving target

– how do you keep up and make sure you’re able to reach your audience?

This month’s Email Elite Exclusive Training contains more than five things that you can immediately do to increase the quality of your list and it’s responsiveness…

… before you’re done watching it.

But,

in the face of Google’s antics

my training can sometimes be political (or anti)

and somewhat controversial in my examples and thought processes.

What I teach isn’t what you’re used to getting in those courses that you pay $499 or $997 for

(but never finish or get actual results from)

and goes a mile-deep on singular topics to build your email list with quality subscribers who actually buy your stuff.

See ya in the depths.
