Makes you feel some type of way

Pop quiz:

What do these widely-known characters all have in common?

  • Batman
  • Spider-Man
  • Luke Skywalker
  • Superman
  • Frodo from The Lord of the Rings
  • Harry Potter

Time’s up.

First things first…

When you’re storytelling effectively,

(the way I teach in this month’s Email Elite Exclusive Training)

you’re aiming to push an emotional button.

The more polar the emotion, the better.

as a content creator,

you should always have an agenda.

For instance:

I get a lot of weird looks when I share my views on the manipulation of the media.

Someone always retorts:

“So Jeremy, you’re saying every movie has an agenda??”

No, silly,

every movie writer has an agenda.

^^same goes for all other forms of entertainment, news, and education IMO (and research).

And so it should be with your content.

(your agenda = solving their problem with a helpful product)

Too many so called “bloggers” and “coaches” in the wild are making soul-less content filled with pretty pictures and lists.

They’re the kind of people who wait to “right hook” until after they’ve “added value” in the form of cartoon-y newsletters and the like.

People are looking to have their problems solved,

not to have their screen filled with butterflies and flowers, sweetie.

To get the exact process I follow for storytelling to sell more products and services,

then check out “How To Avoid Boring People & Convince Them To Buy”,

It’s inside of this month’s Exclusive Training, only for Email Elite members.

PS – Back to our super heroes.

(thought I forgot?)

They’re all orphans.

Do you think the writers of these movies just flipped a coin and said,

“let’s make another movie about orphans?”

They’re aware movies make you feel some type of way and play to that at every opportunity.
