Procrastinate Smarter Vol. 1

A huge realization:

We online biz owners can be the most action-oriented people while also being the biggest procrastinators.

For instance:

We’re quick to spend 80 hours or $3K on a website before we have an audience or an idea of what we’re doing.

When, instead,

we should be focusing on the basics like list-building and understanding our markets.

There are many forms of this that I find.

So, I thought I’d share a few ways you could procrastinate “smarter”:

1) Play Darts.

Take a break from what your doing and step in front of the board.

I get my best ideas when I’m laser-focused on hitting the bullseye.

In fact, this is a powerful way to learn how to “play to win”.

By getting good at hitting bullseye you get better at hitting any other target on the board.

This is also a highly valuable as it comes to understanding your market.

2) Move The Pen.

By learning how to write better

(and faster)

you’ll become efficient in creating your content, sales pages, and products.

As the writing piles up, you’ll have scripts available for videos, email material, and tons of other content.

This also gets your mind to make different connections between previously unrelated subjects.

3) Go Eat.

Don’t eat just anything –

Find something nutritious.

I find when I eat well that I don’t want it to go to waste so I end up becoming motivated to work or go the gym.

Find some greens or make a smoothie and call it a day.

If you’re going to procrastinate, do it smart.
