Focusing on list-building “freebies”

An old friend mentioned something earlier that really got me going…

You see, we’re in a few Facebook groups together.

(one of which we each paid upwards of $1,500 to be in)

His observation of one of the free groups we’re in:

It’s quiet.

And it’s led by some “big names” who position themselves as thought-leaders to webinar community.

Whereas the (paid) group we met in is always buzzing with helpful conversation.

I’m not really “present” in either group, but I observe the same thing.

And it comes down to this:

People value what they pay for.

And, when you focus on “freebies” to attract customers you end up doing the same thing…

… luring traffic that wants more and more free stuff and gets offended when you finally make an offer.

The fact is this:

When you know where your audience is, attract them the right way (the way I teach and recommend), and follow up with them properly…

Sales ‘just happen’.

Naturally. Organically. And GMO-free.


If not, chances are you’re doing it all wrong.

That’s the bad news.

The good news is that with a few small tweaks (and habit breaking), it’s not difficult to get it right.

But a lot of you know I’m no fan of the “news”…

… so that’s all for today.
